Hardik Gajjar is embarking on an inspiring new chapter as Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy (CARBSE) in Ahmedabad.

Hardik’s professional journey spans the intersection of environmental science, air quality innovation, and renewable energy systems. Most recently, he served as a Sensor R&D Testing Engineer at Oizom, where he played a vital role in developing and testing advanced air pollution sensors and monitoring frameworks.

Earlier, as a Research Scholar at Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research and Management (IITRAM), he dove deep into Building Energy Modeling, using tools like EnergyPlus and ENVI-met to assess thermal comfort and sustainable building practices. He also shared his expertise as an Assistant Professor at Sardarkrushinagar DantiwadaAgricultural University, and as a Lecturer at Government Science College, Maninagar, shaping young minds in environmental science.

Hardik’s earlier hands-on experience includes enabling Grid Connectivity For Rooftop Solar systems at Euro Solar, and internships in solar PV and thermal systems at EcoSense, plus poly-plant systems at Jain Irrigation and also Trainee at AbellonClean Energies.

From field labs to research labs, and from classrooms to cutting-edge energy systems. Hardik’s path reflects a deep commitment to clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, and driving scientific breakthroughs while nurturing greener innovations in building science research.
