According to Sneha, her entrepreneurial journey started long before she became an educator. She had always enjoyed spending time with children, and over time, that affection evolved into curiosity.

Her first leadership role at a kindergarten allowed her to experience curriculum design, classroom arrangement, and children’s growth from an entirely new angle. Thanks to her knowledgeable mentor, she came to understand that early childhood education is much more than teaching children how to go to school — it means nurturing the development of children’s self-esteem, exploratory spirit, communication skills, and independence, all of which have a lasting impact on their lives.
Motivated to deepen her knowledge, Sneha earned a degree in early childhood education in the United States. The program strengthened her understanding of how children learn most effectively — through exploration, creation, and connecting new knowledge with the world around them.
Rather than starting yet another conventional preschool, Sneha choksi imagined a place where children can naturally learn through exploration, creativity, and real-life experiences.
That vision eventually became Sneha’s Imagination Station.

Opening an early learning centre in 2015 meant entering a field that was still developing. Today’s parents are familiar with concepts such as play-based learning, child-centred education, and sensory exploration, but these ideas were still relatively new ten years ago. Sneha’s Imagination Station has always taken the road less travelled.
The centre’s philosophy of education has not been based on a prescribed curriculum, but rather inspired by internationally recognised approaches such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, HighScope, RIE, and play-based learning. Instead of applying these methods in their original form, the centre adapted them to suit Indian families, while remaining grounded in child development and research.
The philosophy is simple: children learn better when they have the freedom to explore, play, build relationships, ask questions, and express their views. This philosophy is the essence of all the centre’s programmes, which include ArtVenturers, Bubs Hub, Nursery, Junior KG, Wonder Workshops, summer programmes, parenting workshops, educator training, and counselling initiatives.

Currently, the centre focuses on children in the age group of 12 months-8 years and also reaches families through its educator development initiatives, parenting workshops, and other related programs.
