How Amreli’s Trio Made A Booming Cycle Manufacturing Business: The Story of Seven Cycle India

In a world obsessed with startups that begin in air-conditioned offices and end in pitch decks, this is the story that started in a village close to Amreli – Chakkargadh. Three friends, Deep, Digant, and Piyush, all engineers from the Patel community, did not wait for an angel moment or an incubator based in the city. They put up their sleeves, established a business in a 100 sq. ft. space, and began manufacturing bicycles. It was all out of their Gujarati business sense and without any apps or AI tools!

Now, cut to present, their brand – Seven Cycle India, under Pegacorn Automotive Pvt. Ltd., started with ₹50 lakhs of seed funding and is now having a turnover of 1.5 Crores per annum. It has a manufacturing facility of 10,000 square feet, and is spreading all over Gujarat, as a franchisee model, with zero franchise fee.

So, let’s pedal through their inspiring entrepreneurial journey.

Shared Dream Built from Ground Zero

When the world was going through lockdown in the year 2020, this trio of young men was set on a single mission. It was learning how to start a business that made a difference. They didn’t have any past business but shared the hunger of creating something of their own. Hence, Deep, Digant, and Piyush migrated to Ludhiana, which is the bicycle capital of India. There, they not only visit factories. They watched frame welding and studied designs, the material, and practical experience on manufacturing cycles.

The trio armed themselves with knowledge and fire, and they went up to Chakkarghadh and began to build. They started manufacturing with light, stylish, affordable cycles in a little room of 100 sq ft. So, whether it was aluminum sports cycles or children’s bicycles, they guaranteed every product was a representation of their determination to focus on need-based design and hence the high quality. And their first buyers were local retailers of the Saurashtra region, Jetpur, Junagadh, Botad, Gondal, Dhoraji, Upleta, etc.

Orders kept increasing as more people knew about it. So, at some point, they established their own 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse, increased the volume of production, and came out with logistics services to deliver fully assembled cycles. The company was not just operating, but it was galloping ahead.

The Breakthrough Moment for Seven Cycle India

Seven Cycle India saw a turning point, just like all great entrepreneurship stories in India. They attracted the seed capital of ₹50 lakh. This has enabled them to modernize machinery, increase output and prepare their next big jump, retail business and franchise expansion. Their other milestone achievement was launching a smart retail model with zero franchise fee.

Seven Cycle India’s first franchise was opened in 2024 at Nikol, Ahmedabad, with no franchise fee. So, anyone who’s interested in taking up their franchise model needs to have a basic investment of ₹3 lakh for products and interior of a 400 sq. ft. space. The best part is, you can earn up to 25-30% net profit each month. No rip-off. No catch. Simply a self-made business idea for potential retailers.

With Nikol’s success, another two franchises were opened in Bopal in a period of six months. Their outlets in Ahmedabad alone sell more than 250-300 cycles in a month now.

It is all about entrepreneurship, wherein others are empowered as well.

What differentiates Seven Cycle India?

The majority of the cycle providers deliver parts boxes. And franchisees, retailers are supposed to assemble it. Here, Seven Cycle India has come up with a uniqueness. Their ready-to-sell cycles are distributed to outlets through their own logistics truck. The owners of franchises do not require hiring technicians and do not need to worry about assembly; they simply begin to sell. It is such a convenience of doing business that makes their system scalable and trusted.

Moreover, among consumers as well, brand loyalty is being maintained with a lifetime guarantee model. All products of Seven Cycle India are sold with a lifetime guarantee. So, when anything breaks, they do not mend it with a temporary fix, but they fix it bit by bit, without asking any questions. This customer-first mentality has made new buyers into zealots.

It is an ideal case study of learning about entrepreneurship through listening to the needs of the consumer and being quick.

Conclusion

The story of Deep, Digant, and Piyush is a crash course in things to know when starting a business. It’s about an actual problem-solver, crafting opportunity, delighting the customer, and scaling up. It shows the rise of entrepreneurship in Gujarat that even a rural area can become the birthplace of visionary businesses.

Their story is also a lesson that young businesses do not necessarily have to spend much money to create a huge phenomenon. They simply require focus, an open mind that is willing to learn, and a daring heart to begin with.

The trio’s goal by 2026 is to have a Seven Cycle outlet in every district of Gujarat. Curious to know more? Reach out to them at 6359934634. Your ride to entrepreneurship might just begin with one call.
