Krunal Shah promoted to Manager – Programs (CSR, Youth Initiatives & Communications) at Elixir Foundation

Elixir Foundation delightedly announced the promotion of Krunal Shah to the role of Manager – Programs (CSR, Youth Initiatives & Communications) on 26th May, 2025. In his new capacity, Krunal will lead the Foundation’s CSR strategy, oversee youth-focused initiatives, and drive integrated communications to amplify Elixir’s impact across Gujarat.

Krunal’s journey in the social development sector began as a Rural Development Intern with the Government of Gujarat in the Dang district, followed by his tenure as State Coordinator for the Healthy Campus Initiative at the Narcotics Control Bureau. After a brief sabbatical preparing for the UPSC, he joined Elixir Foundation in March 2020. Over the past 5.3 years, Krunal has grown from Project Coordinator to Project Manager and then to Manager – Youth Programs, Partnerships & PR, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to youth empowerment.

During his time at Elixir, Krunal has led the UNICEF-supported “Adolescent and Young People Initiative”, managing cross-sector partnerships and ensuring measurable outcomes. He successfully rolled out the Class to Career program in 56 low-income schools, benefiting over 112 teachers and more than 20,000 adolescents with essential life and career skills. His innovative spirit gave birth to flagship platforms such as the Gujarat Youth Conclave (five editions), Doers Hub, Young Leaders Lab, Gujarat Climate Action Summit, and more. Notably, he also served as CEO of the Gujarat Youth Forum, a peer-led network amplifying young voices across the state.

In his new role, Krunal envisions forging transformative partnerships with corporates, government agencies, and multilateral institutions to design sustainable models for education, skills, and community development. He aims to ensure that every initiative nurtures leadership, inclusivity, and tangible change, bridging urban and rural divides through purpose-driven programming and strategic communication.

Looking ahead, Krunal aspires to position Elixir Foundation as a preferred CSR partner for multinational companies, while creating original intellectual properties focused on youth empowerment, civic leadership, and climate action. He hopes to launch national-scale movements that inspire young people to lead from the front, in collaboration with state governments, educational institutions, and international allies.

“You don’t need a title to lead, a degree to create impact, or permission to start. If you have the courage to care and the fire to act, the world will follow. Young people aren’t the leaders of tomorrow; we are the disruptors of today. Rise, build, and make it count.” – Krunal Shah
