With over 20 years of experience in media, content strategy, and creative writing. Nishant Gadhavi has stepped into his new role as Creative Director – Copy at HCF(Hetarsh Creative Force),where he will be spearheading narrative-driven campaigns and innovative content initiatives from Ahmedabad.

Nishant’s longest and most impactful association has been with radio, where he made remarkable contributions to content creation, programming, and storytelling. He began his career as a copywriter with Radio Mirchi, creating jingles and radio spots for brands such as AB Jewellers, Deepkala Group, BSNL, and the Government of Gujarat. He went on to spend nearly 14 years at Radio City India,, rising from Producer cum RJ to Regional Programming Director. During this journey, he led content development, audience engagement, and innovative campaigns across Ahmedabad and Vadodara, blending fiction, creativity, and media insights to deliver memorable experiences for listeners.

Some of his most notable radio initiatives include Radio City Poornaviram, developed in association with Ahmedabad Traffic Police to address wrong-side driving, and Ahmedabad ki Thuu Thuu Main Main, a campaign aimed at discouraging public spitting. He is also the creative mind behind beloved radio characters like Nishant Ni Chotli and Radio City par NRG (Non-Resident Gujarati). His shows, promos, and characters have won national awards in categories such as Best RJ, Best Radio Show, and Best Radio Promo.
Before radio, Nishant made shorter yet impactful contributions as a journalist at Zee News and a copywriter at Lowe Lintas, Mumbai, where he worked on iconic ad campaigns including Surf Excel’s “Daag Achche Hain”, Camlin Permanent Marker, and memorable radio spots for Idea Cellular. His portfolio reflects his expertise in both traditional and modern storytelling mediums.
Beyond radio and advertising, Nishant is also an author, digital marketing expert, and educator. His debut book Yaar Batohi, a collection of Hindi short stories, became a bestseller, and he is currently working on his second and third books. For over 17 years, he has served as a guest lecturer in the Department of Communication at Gujarat University, teaching story writing, radio programming, RJing, and writing for commercials. Nishant is also passionate about solo travelling, Indian classical music, and is now planning to pursue a Ph.D. in AI-based Communication and Storytelling.
