YOUFORIA by Hrutul Patel: A Gujarati Visionary Redefining Immersive Art

The name YOUFORIA by Hrutul Patel is steadily gaining attention in creative circles. But behind this spectacular experience lies the journey of a young Gujarati artist driven by emotion, imagination, and ambition.

Hrutul Patel grew up in Ahmedabad with no background in music or art. His love for films led him to storytelling, first through filmmaking and later, music.

Certain films left such a strong imprint on my heart that I found myself wanting to recreate those feelings for others. That’s when I discovered my purpose.”

Hrutul doesn’t believe in traditional mentorship. His guiding light is an “itch to be different.” This desire to break free from the herd has shaped everything he’s created. It’s also his biggest inspiration. Even as a child, Hrutul misunderstood how film performances worked—thinking everything was live and spontaneous. That childlike wonder still drives him today.

He composed his first song, Yeh Shaam Na Lotegi, in 2014. Years later, the same song was featured in his debut Gujarati film Bau Na Vichaar, sung by Mohit Chauhan. That film, released in 2019, marked the beginning of Hrutul’s journey—and eventually, the birth of YOUFORIA.

The Inspiration Behind YOUFORIA

According to Hrutul, “YOUFORIA is not just a concert. It’s a state of mind.” The debut chapter, titled पा र्थ, premiered in Ahmedabad in March 2025.

The experience blends 3D animation, live music, storytelling, and multi-screen visuals. Picture six massive screens forming a hexagon around the audience. In the centre stands the performer, creating a 360° audio-visual immersion

The concept is tied to a personal idea of “YOUforia”—a moment when you laugh, cry, feel numb, and inspired, all at once. This is the feeling Hrutul wants audiences to reach, one performance at a time.

Breaking the Mold with HEXA-IMMERSIVE

Before YOUFORIA, Hrutul wanted to create something revolutionary. That idea evolved into the world’s first HEXA-IMMERSIVE concert. A six-screen modular format surrounds the audience, pulling them into the heart of the show. All the energy, diverted towards the centre, aiming to create a cluster of singularity, which is the key to feeling infinity, within us and beyond!

Hrutul explains, “Hexagons are powerful. They’re balanced, spiritual, and symbolic. I wanted a setup where visuals, performance, and emotion could merge.” With this, YOUFORIA found its signature format—deeply technical, yet human at its core.

Behind the Scenes of a Creative Universe

My rule is simple: no single element should dominate. Narrative, visuals, light, performance—everything must flow together.

Bringing YOUFORIA by Hrutul Patel to life took an army of collaborators. Designers like Smit Patel and VFX advisor Kuldeep Joshi played key roles. Multiple agencies, over 60 artists, and relentless coordination made YOUFORIA a reality. The project is proof that when passion meets teamwork, anything is possible.

Even his father, Dharmesh Patel—who had no background in events—played a key role. “It’s not mine alone. It belongs to everyone who gave their soul to it,” Hrutul says proudly.

The Power of Emotion and Audience Connection

What sets YOUFORIA apart is how deeply it connects with people. “During our first show,” Hrutul recalls, “three women in their 70s were dancing to EDM. The lyrics were from the Vedas!”

Moments like these prove that emotion has no age. “That’s when I knew we’d created something timeless,” he adds.

The goal is not just to impress. It’s to move people. Laugh, cry, dance, reflect—all at once. That’s the magic of YOUFORIA.

A Message for Young Gujarati Creators

Hrutul’s message to young Gujarati artists is clear: define your own success. Don’t become prisoners of your own aspirations. Don’t chase labels which are romanticised byeveryone. Build your own definitions of success. he urges. He also stresses the importance of surrendering to the creative process before thinking about monetization.

Authenticity, according to him, is ever evolving.

The Future of YOUFORIA and Immersive Art

Where is YOUFORIA headed next? Hrutul dreams of YOUFORIA by Hrutul Patel becoming a playground for immersive storytelling—beyond music. Think immersive fashion shows, cultural garbas, even films.

The next chapter, कलि युध, is already in the works and dives into the philosophy of war. Each song is named after ancient weapons—Talwar, Dhanush, Trishul. Unlike पा र्थ, this chapter is composed from scratch and promises even more inspiration for audiences.

He also envisions भारतवन, a heritage city rooted in Indian mythology, with YOUFORIA as its artistic soul. The dream is bold, but with his track record, not impossible.

YOUFORIA by Hrutul Patel is not just an event—it’s a movement. A space where a Gujarati artist fuses emotion, culture, and cutting-edge technology to inspire the world.
